Family Law
Family Law is a body of law that regulates and governs relationships that include, marriages, the treatment of children, divorce, and related matters. Family law shares an interest in certain social issues which involve dealing with other areas of law such as Property law or Criminal law. One such issue being, violence that occurs in a family that may take the form of physical or mental violence or the distribution of land and resources in a family.
The various types of matters included under Family law are; Maintenance, Restitution of Conjugal Rights, Validity of Marriages, Divorces, Adoption etc.
