Intellectual Property Rights

Intellectual Property Rights refer to the creations of the mind such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images used in commerce. These rights are those which are associated with intangible assets owned by a person or a company such that it gives that individual a right to protect their original ideas and prevent unauthorized copying.
There are four main types of intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
