Contract Law
A Contract as defined under the Indian Contract Act is “an agreement enforceable by law”. It is the body of law that deals with the making & implementation of agreements. The basic elements that constitute a valid and legally enforceable agreement are; mutual assent expressed by a valid offer and acceptance, capacity, legality, and adequate consideration.
The different types of contracts can be for the sale of goods, transfer of property, contract of employment, lease agreements, etc.
